Kevin Jacobson is a dedicated educator and music professional who teaches Intro to AMP in the Florin AMP Academy. With a background that bridges the gap between public health and the arts, Kevin brings a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to the classroom. He holds a Master’s in Public Health from CSU Sacramento and has furthered his technical expertise through specialized studies in music production and songwriting at Berklee Online.
As a musician and producer, Kevin is deeply immersed in the world of sound. Whether he is playing bass guitar, exploring the depths of Ableton Live, or mentoring students on beat-making and DJing, his goal is to empower the next generation of creators with the tools they need to find their voice. His professional philosophy is rooted in the belief that technical skill and creative expression are essential components of a modern education.
When he isn’t in the studio or the classroom, Kevin is likely outdoors. He is the head coach for Florin’s Cross Country and Track & Field teams, an avid cyclist, and a fan of endurance running.
